It’s our last night in Provence and we are still playing over what an absolutely amazing day it was on Saturday!  We felt so fortunate to be surrounded by our family and friends at Bignor to celebrate our marriage.  As the rain clouds cleared and the sun shone over Bignor, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.

Thank you for making it so special, without you it would not have been possible.

All your support and help has made the whole process seamless and really enjoyable. I love that we’re all part of the Bignor Park family, it is the most spectacular place!

We absolutely loved our wedding day.  I’d worried so much about the weather, but the showers added atmosphere and in any event I realised how little weather mattered. We’d like to do the whole day again if we could, just as it was!

You have been so wonderful ever since we found Bignor and we are so grateful to you for making our dreams come true.

We chose the venue because of the beautiful setting and particularly the option to have our wedding breakfast outdoors. We’d been to a wedding in Italy with a similar set up and couldn’t believe our luck at finding such a beautiful space for alfresco dining in the UK.

Another big selling point was Louise, the venue manager. From the moment we met her she instilled in us a great sense of confidence and we knew we were in good hands. She made sure we had everything we needed at every step of the way, was also there on the day and at our rehearsal the day before to make sure everything ran smoothly. She’s a real super star and made the whole experience a joy from start to finish.

A pleasure to celebrate the magic of a wedding in the quintessential West Sussex country estate within exceptional landscaped grounds overlooking the South Downs.

We are still on a high from the wedding. It was simply perfect. Thank you for all of your guidance and expertise. Knowing we would have you, helping us and guiding us through the wedding planning process, really helped us make an easy decision in picking Bignor Park as our wedding venue. Bignor was the first and only venue we visited; we knew straight away it was the one for us.

The gardens are spectacular, and the views of the South Downs were perfect for a beautiful post-wedding drinks reception and lawn games. The quadrangle is such a unique space for food, and part of the reason we fell in love with Bignor as a venue.  Our guests commented on it being like dining at a French chateau!
Louise is the kindest, most organised and classy woman we know.  She was always available to answer strange and silly questions and provide expertise guidance and advice.  She has such a great knowledge of trusted suppliers in the area and most importantly, she knows what WORKS.

Bignor is such an amazing place and has such a special place in our hearts.  Thank you again for everything.

We had the best day and the venue was incredible. The available space allowed for lots of different elements, we had the ceremony and cocktails on the loggia lawn, and we did the food in the stables.  All of our guests commented on how wonderful the venue was, and it made for some of the best photos.  The events co-ordinator was amazing and her hard work meant that the day went as planned, and it made the process way less stressful!

We honestly had the most incredible day, and we were riding such a high for so long afterwards!

We would like to thank you for providing the most special and spectacular place for us to celebrate our wedding.  It’s funny to think back to our first visit to Bignor to meet Louise.  The tour of the gardens and view from the South Lawn perfectly reflected what we had been visualising for our day, and we left knowing this is where we wanted to celebrate the happiest day of our lives.

The preparation beforehand was made easier by Louise’s advice and ensuring military precision with on the day timings.  We would not ever have expected our luck with the weather – glorious sunshine and the Northern lights, but mostly the gardens and the view we had fallen for initially were even more breathtaking.  There really is nowhere like Bignor Park.

Always a fantastic wedding experience at Bignor Park!  I returned last year for Georgia and Dan’s wedding on a beautiful day in September where they held their drinks reception on the lawns and the marquee was styled superbly.  Louise and the team are great to work with, very accommodating and organised with great communication in the run up.  With access to the stunning walled gardens and wider grounds, there are lots of wonderful spots to take the couple away for a few photos.

We don’t quite know where to start with saying thank you, as you were truly brilliant. From the very first day we met, we knew Bignor was the place and you were the person to bring the wedding of our dreams together. The biggest of thank yous again for everything Louise – you were a STAR.

We have honestly had the best time not just on the wedding day but the entire process was so much fun! We had such an amazing time celebrating our wedding at Bignor Park, it was such a perfect day and the guests were in awe of the venue – the colour of Bignor House was very similar to our honeymoon hotel in Italy which made it feel even more special. I photographed a wedding at this venue last summer and it’s now one of my favourite places to work. The grounds are amazing, and they have lovely lawns and a lot of space for large weddings. The staff are also great.

‘Right from the first day we came to Bignor I was totally overwhelmed by it and I just knew it was perfect for us. We wanted something unique and romantic that fitted with us and who we are. ‘I do not believe there is a more beautiful place to marry than Bignor. Imagine your ceremony taking place in the prettiest and most romantic of English gardens, with the birds singing and the wind blowing through the trees. Then onto the vast lawns for your reception, with acres of rolling Sussex countryside as far as the eye can see and the imposing house as a backdrop. We married at Bignor in the summer of 2010. It was like being in a dream. We loved the informality of marrying in a garden. We loved the ease of having a marquee in the grounds, so our guests and their children could wander freely. The owners of Bignor were a dream to work with. Nothing was too much trouble. I cannot recommend it highly enough. We didn’t want to leave and neither did our guests.’
