Bignor Park is a dream venue for wedding ceremonies and receptions, offering romantic and exclusive rural elegance. Your wedding at Bignor Park will be a uniquely special experience, because the versatility of our setting means you can choose exactly how you want it – a day that is yours and yours alone. Weddings at Bignor Park are family-run and limited to twelve couples per year, so we can go the extra mile to make sure both that your wedding planning and day runs smoothly, and you and your guests are relaxed, excited and have a great time.
Our goal is to make your day magical. A further advantage of our exclusivity is that you will have access two days before your wedding, so everything can be just how you want it and there is no rush to get things ready. We’ve put together a short film to help give you a flavour of weddings at Bignor Park.
Bignor Park has several options available for hosting receptions. From drinks in front of Bignor Park House on the South Lawn, with its stunning views, to the charming and intimate Stables or the majestic Croquet Lawn. Each space is your canvas to dress, whether that be formal, vintage or whatever your vision of a perfect wedding day may be.
Bignor Park is licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies and partnerships in the beautiful Greek Loggia. This romantic setting within the formal gardens provides a calm and dignified backdrop for the formal proceedings of your day.
The Greek Loggia is a classical stone porch under which you will exchange your vows. Your guests (space for up to one hundred and fifty) will be seated on the lawn in front of the Loggia and surrounded by the glorious gardens – a more magical setting for your wedding ceremony would be hard to find.
The South Lawn provides a stunning backdrop for wedding photos and reception drinks, with unrivalled views of quintessential West Sussex countryside and the South Downs. The spacious lawn delivers a relaxed and welcome change of pace to your day post ceremony or on arrival from church.
The Stables are a charming, rustic complex of rooms dating from the late Eighteenth Century that have been lovingly restored to their original condition. The five rooms are situated around a large cobbled Courtyard on one side, and on the opposite side the Coach Store opens out through french doors on to the Quadrangle – a secluded walled garden providing a very unique indoor / outdoor space for dining, drinks or evening relaxation.
The Croquet Lawn is a deceptively large lawn space nestled against Bignor Park House. If you are planning a tipi tent or marquee wedding reception then the Croquet Lawn is the hidden gem you have been looking for. It can accommodate up to two hundred and fifty guests in a tipi tent or marquee chosen from one of our trusted marquee suppliers.
