Imagine your ceremony taking place in the prettiest and most romantic of English gardens, with the birds singing and the wind blowing through the trees. Then onto the vast lawns for your reception, with acres of rolling Sussex countryside as far as the eye can see and the imposing house as a backdrop.
We married at Bignor in the summer of 2010. It was like being in a dream. We loved the informality of marrying in a garden. We loved the ease of having a marquee in the grounds, so our guests and their children could wander freely. The owners of Bignor were a dream to work with. Nothing was too much trouble. I cannot recommend it highly enough. We didn't want to leave and neither did our guests.’
